About AusChildSupport
AusChildSupport is an independent Australian service that produces an indicative child support Estimate from the information you enter.
Important boundaryAn Estimate is not a Formal Assessment. Services Australia issues Formal Assessments.
01 · Why it exists
Parents may need to understand the likely number before a discussion, mediation, application or appointment for professional advice.
The child support formula can be difficult to follow when income, care and family circumstances interact. The service exists to make a supported Estimate and its calculation path easier to inspect.
It offers a place to begin—not a decision about disputed facts, legal rights or what Services Australia will formally assess.
02 · Founder & operator
I founded AusChildSupport to give parents a clearer way to understand an indicative child support figure before deciding what to do next. My background includes roughly three years working with the child support assessment process as a Services Australia child support officer.
I operate and maintain the service, and I am the person accountable for how its calculation approach is presented.

03 · Evidence index
Credibility here does not depend on a badge. It depends on whether the calculation approach, boundaries and routes for review can be examined.
04 · Maintenance discipline
This is the high-level rhythm. The Methodology page holds the fuller record of sources, controls and limitations.
Review authoritative source material relevant to the calculation rules.
Keep calculation logic and annual values aligned with the supported assessment years.
Exercise supported pathways and important thresholds where mistakes can occur.
Make assumptions, supported scope and reliance boundaries visible.
Provide a route for suspected errors or unclear content to be examined.
